Open AI API seemingly not saving? Open AI toggles off?

I’m trying to link my Open AI account to the A.I. Chatbot feature and I’m running into an issue. I’m able to generate the API key through OpenAI and insert it into the API Key section under “MY OPENAI ACCOUNT,” however when I leave the page and come back the entry box just says “Encrypted API Key.” It’s possible it’s intended to be this way for security sake?

This may be working as intended, but the chatbot is definitely not using GPT through my account. My bot timed out on responses during stream today and when I checked my OpenAI account it shows no requests at all.

In fact, I occasionally roll out the MY OPENAI ACCOUNT tab to find that the ‘Using my OpenAI account’ toggle has flipped itself to off.

The FAQ doesn’t even seem to address the OpenAI integration, and it’s difficult to troubleshoot this since it can only respond when live. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

So, to begin with, the “Encrypted API Key” is indeed normal, it’s to avoid that if you share your account or display the panel on live, anyone can see your key

Regarding deactivation, and the fact that it doesn’t work, there are a few things to consider:

Deactivation occurs when our system detects an error on the part of openAI. These errors can be an invalid key, insufficient credits, exceeded limits (RPM, etc.) or the “GPT4o / mini” model not being available on the account.
